EP + download code including bonus tracks. It's very apt that Powel is the first artist to release on new imprint Dawn till Dusk. The German epitomise music which captivates the mind and frees the soul, a notion the new label will encapsulate. This EP is the perfect start to the new project, music that can translate to desert dancefloors, or soundtrack sunrise/sunsets on the beaches of Ibiza.
Ekman is no stranger to Shipwrec. With three EPs and an album, the dutchman's brand of fire and brimstone has seared a serious impression on the Nijmegen imprint. The fourth 12" comes with a marked difference. That burning smouldering intensity that has characterised the acid soaked electro and stained techno of past records is present, however it is now sheathed.
Some lovely deep lush house tunes on this one! Karlos Moran continues to release more bonafide classic US Deep House music on his own Moran Music Group label (which was started for him especially by the people behind Klasse Wrecks).
Planet Rhythm presents another V/A. Vinicius Honorio opens up the EP with some heavy kicks accompanied by a crazy synth lead. Room Records boss and Planet Rhythm family friend Berg Jaar brings his unique sound to this outlet. On the flip-side Rorsch makes his well-deserved Planet Rhythm debut with a beautifully crafted rolling techno track. After that, Linn Elisabet closes of the EP with a driving tune that's being lifted by some eerily stretched chords.
Cryogenetic's first 12" in 18 years. The obscure electro producer formally on DJ Godfather's Twilight 76 imprint teleports us back in time with his DAT recordings; previously unreleased on vinyl.
